FPOS Intermediate is for people who may have to manage an incident for up to 40 minutes before the arrival of the emergency services. The course runs for 30 hours. The content is the same as FPOS Basic, plus the following:

  • Triage
  • Safe moving and handling
  • Suction
  • Removal of crash helmets
  • Use of airways and oxygen
  • Spinal stabilisation

Optionally, we can include Entonox, Epi-pens and femoral traction in the Intermediate course. We can also offer the Intermediate course as a stand-alone module of 10 hours to people who are already qualified to FPOS Basic or equivalent.
